Managing 10 things at once

Managing a lot of things as a final year student

Blog image

“How do you manage so many things perfectly?”

I get this question a lot, especially from juniors 😅

And honestly, my only answer to that is...

I don’t manage everything perfectly.

I’ve just learned how to manage the chaos better.

As a final-year student, you have to do a lot of things.

You’ve got college projects, society work, personal goals, side hustles, internships, placement's preparation and a few deadlines chasing you down every day.

And lastly constant reminder from parents, saying, “So, how’s the placement going?” 🙂

You wake up to achieve random things.

Some days, it’s college.

Some days, it’s a society meeting.

Some days, it’s client work.

And in between, you try to find a few minutes just to breathe.

Then when you get some free time “Bro, get on a meet. It’s urgent.”

And then hours gone.

But here’s the thing

There’s no perfect balance.

There’s only adaptation.

You learn to prioritize.

You learn to switch gears quickly.

And most importantly. You learn to stay calm when things don’t go your way.

With time, the chaos doesn’t reduce.

You just get better at dancing with it. 💫

So to everyone who’s trying to manage it all

Don’t stress over doing it perfectly.

Just keep showing up.

Bit by bit, you’ll build your own rhythm. And that’s what management really is.
